Unique to my training, is that I bring my own pack of well-trained dogs with me to assist in my training sessions. My dogs demonstrate balanced demeanor and thereby help other dogs remain calm and move forward through their own fear or anxiety. With my 15 years of field experience and expertise in dog psychology, I address behavioral issues from the root cause - the dog's mind. This type of approach is far more effective and long-lasting than trying to solve problems through obedience commands alone. I also provide invitation-only small group classes where dogs and owners will interact and simulate real-world scenarios to learn how to have an easy to handle, polite dog in public. Unlike most trainers, I give each participant in the group individualized attention and tailor their group experience to meet their specific needs.
Throughout our training sessions, you will learn why your dog exhibits certain behaviors so that you feel empowered to help your dog. You will learn strategies to correct those behaviors to diminish any frustration you may be experiencing. You will be taught how to gain respect from your dog, and how to control your dog in any setting. Ultimately, the goal of all my programs is to teach owners how to create safety and leadership for their dogs, and in doing so, have balanced, reliable and well-mannered dogs they can be proud of. The best thing to do is to start reading my book, as it will explain the "why" behind the approach I take. If you get informed before our session, you will be much more prepared and confident for the session. Plus, you'll learn a lot of things that you can do immediately to create changes in your dog before our first session, which will give you a head start. Find out more about the book here.
